Wende? Wenden! – Linguistische Annäherungen

We are living in an era of transformations: The world is changing due to crises, conflicts, wars, the progress of civilization and the development of new technologies, among other things. In the history of linguistics research, many striking turning points could also be observed. The turn away from the structuralist view of language and towards the cognitive view of language and cognitively oriented language analysis was one of them. As a result, new linguistic sub-disciplines emerged and crystalized that examined human linguistic action from different angles (e.g. socio-, ethno-, psycho-, discourse- and eco-linguistics). The contributions presented in this volume provide insightful findings and research perspectives as well as new questions and approaches to the phenomenon of turn-taking from a linguistic perspective.
