Weeks Collection

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. But this fad ceased to interest me, for I had exhausted the possibilities of my position and, building on my dead self, I passed on to other hobbies. The next was newspapers. My desire was to get one copy of as many different papers as I possibly could, and while it lasted publishers were importuned for specimen copies and my friends and acquaintances made miserable with my begging for every stray newspaper that happened to add*a new title to my collection. I was then, and am now, in a dilettante way, a stamp collee tor. I cannot assign that amiable weakness to any particular period, for it covers all but I have had more control over this propensity than over others, for stamp collecting requires expert knowledge, much time and much money, and while I am always interested in a good collection of stamps, I have not had the disposition to go deeply into the matter for myself.
