Web of Deceit

A spy story based on historical events involving the governments of Great Britain, Cyprus and Greece set in the 1950s. A small band of highly trained special operatives try to uncover the name of a spy in Defence Intelligence while a civil war in Cyprus between Greeks and Turks rages around them. A State run terrorist organisation called Operation Gladio attempts a coup d' tat to overthrow the government of Greece. The action moves across Cyprus, Greece, Italy, France and England as the hero tries to capture the spy to bring him to justice. Tensions between the characters and the protagonists take the reader on a dramatic journey
