Shalindra and her band of refugees sought a new life, her quest to become Guardian set aside after fleeing a war she was not allowed to win. Tormjere's return is as mysterious as his sudden disappearance, upsetting the peace they have achieved and placing her feet back on the path of divine destiny.

Yet allies prove more elusive than answers, and the demons that hound her are far less terrifying than the ones Tormjere now carries inside.
