We Are Pen Women

The National League of American Pen Women (NLAPW) has its headquarters in Washington, D.C., established in 1897 by women who were determined to be included in the male dominated journalism market. The Santa Clara County Branch of this prestigious organization was chartered in 1922, celebrating our Centennial Anniversary in 2022. This publication is a commemorative publication to celebrate our 100-year anniversary. Included in our commemorative book are biographies of our current members and activities. Also included is information on our Northern California Branches and on our National Headquarters and Pen Arts Building in Washington, D.C.
