Way Out World

The first installment of the Night of the World trilogy is replete with images sampled from Oscar Guardiola-Rivera's work as a decolonial thinker and professor. He takes the reader through an epic that re-writes the Mayan Popul Vuh for 21st Century Britain. Part-dystopia, part-manifesto, the reader follows Hoodoo Girl in her escape from sinister forces in London where poets die in disposable high-rise towers and ghosts populate the streets.
