When Olef's family relocates to a new island nation mere months after his university graduation, his life is thrown into turmoil. Abandoning his fledgling career, Olef follows his family, only to find himself struggling to adapt to the unfamiliar surroundings. As he grapples with the challenges of his new environment, he suffers a series of debilitating nervous breakdowns. In an effort to alleviate his nephew's suffering, Olef's uncle intervenes, securing a job opportunity on the island that promises to give Olef a sense of purpose.
