Watch down to the Dust

The homeland in poems will never decline like bright moon and flowers. In Tang Poems, we write the following things freely without hesitation: moon, flowers, ancient platform, wild temple, fence, ancient path, Hu horses and Yue birds. The image of poems lays on the poets walking path rather than homeland. Nearly all the homesickness and homeland are born here rather than other places. The image of homeland in Tang Poems is what they have seen and heard on the road. Their poems are not writing of poets provided by so called system and calling them schoolroom writing. If the path to poems can be got in schoolroom, there will be no collecting poem officer collecting and writing the National Style, no the Book of Songs written by Confucius travelling all the kingdoms, as well as no consistent evaluation of the National Style: Feng is better than Ya while Ya is better than Song.
