Virago: Woman Warrior

This collection of poems were written at the lowest time in my life. I was a sophomore in college and struggling, financially, emotionally, and physically. This was the only outlet I had to deal with the traumas of my life at the time. My poems helped me get through a break in, assault, first boyfriends, losing loved ones, chronic illness, academic failure, car accidents, a concussion, break ups, and the endings of cherished friendships. It was a messy year and I have learned a lot but I wanted to share some of my poetry in hopes it can help someone going through similar situations. It gets better.
