Varnamālā means garland of syllables, it is more than an 'alphabet' it is a collection of sounds that are carefully and scientifically arranged into groups, these sounds come together to form words and sentences with meaning. It is the very language Krsna speaks to Arjuna on the battlefield. Therefore we should try to understand as much as possible this divine language.
