Valor of the Viking

The year is 977AD. A skald (Viking musician), down on his luck, flees his home village to find fame and fortune. Unfortunately, he finds only hardship and despair. To make ends meet, he becomes a member of the criminal underground. With his luck going from bad to worse, the skald is captured and thrown into a prison cell with the man he was commissioned to kill. The man - a Germanic barbarian who only knows a few words of Norse, despises the skald. But their forced cohabitation brings a grudging friendship, and with it, the chance to escape.
