Understanding Forgiveness

A candid and comprehensive examination of some critical concepts of forgiveness with particular reference to the War On America.

God has made it clear in His word, that forgiving others is a precondition for our own forgiveness. "For if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your heavenly Father forgive you your trespasses." When God forgives the sinner, he is reinstated and stands before God as though he had never sinned. The sinner is reconciled to God, and stands before Him in purity and newness of life. His transgressions are blotted out. He is clothed with the righteousness of Christ.
