Sperrian agent, Oran, is sent to frontier planet H-27, claimed by the rival HazitsyEmpire. Why is H-27 kept so low-tech? Oran soon suspects the natives arent as primitive as they pretend. After Oranaccidentally ingests a native drug his mental powers are enhanced. He then sees himselfand his mission differently, and becomes aggressively proactive. For very differentreasons, Oran and Large Tooth join forces in the quest to uncover the amazing truthabout Hazitsy plans for H-27. In the process, Oran discovers his full potential.
