Unavoided Struggles is about the McLain family who endure life issues that only God can help them through. Prejudice, jealousy, and fear are a few they now face. Jandra McLain has made it her life's goal to teach her grandchildren about Jesus and His ways. Her grandson, Trent McLain, learned personally about the Lord at a young age. Now, on his first missionary trip to an African country, Trent faces struggles he never knew existed until now. Will these new struggles increase his faith or cause him to deny it all?
