Un regalo de navidad

Two troubling stories collide in this adventurous tale. The protagonist of the first, Markheim, goes into an antique store to buy a Christmas gift. What happens here in the forthcoming hours force him to face his fears as well as his hopes and will change his destiny in an extraordinary way. In the second story, an English officer fighting in Spain during the war retires to the countryside to recover. In a mansion situated between the mountains and beautiful landscapes, he tries to find the keys to a love--and terror--story. Here, it is not easy to distinguish between that which is worldly or spiritual; both inseparably merge in the name of a woman: Olalla.
