"Turning Me On" is inspired by the less than romantic life story of Kylelashay Draper. After enduring a life of abandonment, abuse and sexual promiscuity, Draper experiences an epiphany that motivates her to change her lifestyle completely. As a result, she begins analyzing herself, her relationships and every lesson she learned from the men she dated. With every failed relationship, every rejection and every heart break, she gains more insight and begins to realize how her childhood relationships had been repeating themselves by influencing all of her decisions in the dating world. As she gains courage through much prayer, discipline and faith, she then is forced to face herself and face the broken little girl that hid inside of her.
