This is a story of love and loss, determination and tireless struggle. You will see the Greek pantheon through the eyes of Circe - a cunning sorceress, a treacherous beauty-seductress. But it is also a story of a woman who chooses her place in the world of men, because sometimes another is hidden under the familiar surface, a deeper story. Circe, the daughter of the sun god Helios, turned out to be unusual even by the standards of the gods - with a rare sorcerer's power capable of turning the world upside down with a dribble. Even Zeus felt a threat in her, so he sent the girl to a deserted island. Now Circe is an exile who perfects her magic even more. The famous Daedalus with Icarus, the Minotaur, Medea and the legendary Odysseus appear in her life. But in the end, Circe realizes that she is alone - both among the gods and among mortals. A cruel fate awaits her, so she must once and forever decide whether she belongs to the gods from whom she was born, or to the mortals whom she loved above all else.
