Troublesome Roots

British Library Publishing is teaming up with the London-based Punchdrunk theatre company - famous for its immersive theatrical experiences and groundbreaking productions - for a very special collection in which classic tales of the weird are reinterpreted by contemporary authors and playwrights. Including stories by Shirley Jackson, Thomas Ligotti, Amparo Davila and W B Yeats, each of these new versions will then be used by Punchdrunk as the basis for future theatrical and feature-film projects. This exciting collaboration is sure to delight - and thrill - both horror fans and new readers in the genre alike.
