Trip Advisor is a collection of transcribed travel notes from over 25 years of trip journal entries by Ryan McGinness. This artist’s book analyses his psychedelic visions with hindsight annotations and reproductions of artworks made during those years. McGinness asks, “Can we transcend the use of mushrooms to gain insights that move us beyond their healing powers? Can we use psychedelics to explore the mind, come back, and report our findings?” McGinness has attempted to answer these questions. These are his discoveries.
