Trinitarische Allmacht

Das Neben- und Miteinander von Vater, Sohn und Heiligem Geist - welches spater als Trinitat beschrieben wird - und die Allmacht Gottes nehmen eine zentrale Stellung in den Bekenntnissen der ersten Jahrhunderte ein. Jedoch standen und stehen die Allmacht und die Trinitatslehre durchaus in der Diskussion. Die Studie widmet sich der Fragestellung, wie die Macht des dreieinigen Gottes als eine trinitarische Allmacht konzipiert werden kann. Konkret werden drei systematisch-theologische Entwurfe die von Eberhard Jungel, Wolfhart Pannenberg und Joseph Bracken fur sich und im Verhaltnis zueinander diskutiert. Alle drei entwickeln ein dezidiert trinitarisches Gottesbild, weisen jedoch fundamentale Unterschiede im Verstandnis des (all)machtigen Handelns Gottes auf. [Trinitarian Omnipotence. God's Power According to Eberhard Jungel, Wolfhart Pannenberg and Joseph Bracken]The coexistence and cooperation of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit later described as the Trinity and the omnipotence of God occupy a central position in the creeds of the early centuries. However, the doctrines of omnipotence and the Trinity have been and continue to be the subject of debate. This study addresses the question of how the power of the triune God can be conceived as 'trinitarian omnipotence.'Specifically, three systematic-theological models those of Eberhard Jungel, Wolfhart Pannenberg and Joseph Bracken are discussed individually and in relation to one another. All three develop a decidedly Trinitarian image of God, but show fundamental differences in their understanding of God's (omni)powerful action.
