When Harles suspects that something is askew at Verndoy Animal Care, his days at the non-profit organization are numbered. Leaving behind his beloved partner Dess, he heads to Diel City to find work. Reunited with his old friend Marga, and working for his new boss Ard, Harles' life is on the up. But then his old boss, a literal monster, comes to town. What sinister plans does she have for Diel City and Jarthland as a whole? Will Marga and Harles' detections and deductions be enough to stop her? Or will they have to seek out the Bureau of Knights?
