A rail journey from Birkenhead to Beijing and back again, routed through thirteen different countries. Of the many laughs, adventures, experiences, sights and sounds encountered in numerous locations. Of the friends who rode their own chosen parts of the tracks to make it an experience never to be forgotten. And the friends and family who stayed at home, but who travelled with me in their thoughts and good wishes.
