More and more people are talking about GMOs and the pros and cons of manufacturing them. Transgenics are indeed a great advance in biotechnology and can bring many advantages in terms of productivity and the nutritional value of food. However, the risks need to be properly assessed and controlled, which requires ongoing research and widespread dissemination of the results.
