Franz Kafka (July 3, 1883 - June 3, 1924) was the great Czech writer, one of the major literary figures, not only in German literature, but also in world literature. He was born in the Czech capital, Prague, when it was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. He was described as a pioneer of nightmarish philosophical writing, and the language of his German literary writing was known as brilliant, extremely precise, and beautiful. Tuberculosis destroyed his body, but his literature guaranteed his immortality. In the story of transformation, and in the rest of the stories in this book, the reader is faced with stories that represent an existential crisis, and indicate a division that occurs as a result of several accumulations, separating consciousness from the subconscious, and human alienation becomes a basis in Kafka''s interesting, enjoyable stories that are amazing with their wild imagination on the one hand, and with Kafka''s philosophy and gravity on the other hand. There is a characteristic of Kafka''s stories in which the narration takes the plural form "we," rather than the narration from the perspective of the first person singular "I."
