Tolstoy''s confession

The translator decided to translate it into Arabic because of the beautiful facts and useful lessons it contains, starting with the first book, which he called "Tolstoy''s Confession."Tolstoy wrote this confession in 1879, but the authorities did not allow it to be printed in Russia. Therefore, it was printed in Geneva, Switzerland, as were the second and third books. These books have been translated into all living languages.The translator draws the readers'' attention to an important fact before reading this confession: that Tolstoy describes the dark days of his disbelief in order to make them a prelude to the bright days of his faith. Thought is his leader, and sound logic is his companion in everything he writes.
