On the run from Chinese authorities, the lives of three very different boys are thrown into turmoil, as they pursue their quest to save an ancient ruler from a humiliating fate. Toby, having received guidance from a wise elder, leads the plucky trio. Despite the risks, his unlikely friends, Lei and Ali, join him on an action-packed adventure, filled with ancient history and supernatural terror.
