Time's Blood

Don is a functioning recluse, uncomfortable around people. He only leaves his small apartment when he must, pleased with his solitude wrestling with ghosts from the past. One day, a cat, mean kids and thirteen-year-old Caitlin intersect with Don. Caitlin lives in two worlds. One world is known as reality. The other world Caitlin simply calls the Dreamscape. Caitlin believes she can see the billions of threads connecting all things. She also believes, like her, Don can see these threads, too. He just doesn't know it. Caitlin's grandmother keeps a secret. When Gram dies, she can no longer protect Caitlin from the secret, Caitlin and the Dreamscape.
