Thy Kingdom Come

Mike Derrickson was born on December, 1962 in West Ocean City, MD. Like most people, Derrickson grew up without a thought in his head concerning poetry. Then his twelfth grade English teacher introduced him to Shakespeare, and Michael was hooked. Hearing the Bard's work opened a whole new well of creativity. Michael has been writing poetry ever since. Presently attending House of Praise for All People outside Greenwood, DE, Derrickson is the church poet laureate. He and his wife Virginia currently reside in Harrington, DE.
