Through the Garden

Life had become a challenge for Quin. Having sought refuge on the other side of Canada from her home in Newfoundland & Labrador following the death by suicide of her twin sister, she realised nothing was working anymore. It was time to go home. Upon returning, Quin meets Everard Mackay, her favourite former English teacher from high school, beginning a friendship with him--picking up hid groceries, taking him for doctor's appointments and so on. But eventually, she learns something unexpected about Everard's identity. And ultimately, a chance discovery in his garden will forever change Quin's life.
