Things that happened or might have.

I rarely sit down and plot what I should write. Life has already decided that. It could be something Dad did, being unexpectedly asked to milk cows, thinking it's the right day to propose marriage, or just recording the love and courage of others. What I write reflects the experiences that have shaped my life. We cover a lot of ground in the fifteen stories here. Everything from how the days we had wished to forget could become the memories we treasure the most; a love story that couldn't have gone more wrong but turned out just right; a story about pickle jar stacking, deli meats, open wounds, and love; to a moving tale of toes, tattoos, and clothing options.
