Mel doesn't want to be with a man

Mel just wants to play in her band

Mel can't live by others demands

School is it place she rather not be

When she invites those kids to the show

Maybe their thoughts of her won't be so low

When she knows she just can't blend in

To deal with the pain for music she writes often
