This work is for the narrator, SATB choir, and orchestra. This work was written for a BBC broadcast in 1938 and is now published for the first time. The ten sections include a strongly uplifting central section and conclude with a setting of the Veni creator spiritus. Together they create a unified and strikingly individual work. Orchestral material is also available on hire.
