The UN and the protection of women's rights

Since its inception, the UN has paid great attention to women and the protection of their rights. This protection is marked not only at the level of the UN institutions but also at the level of the world conferences that are organized by the UN in order to promote women and ensure gender equality. However, this protection is hindered by certain limits, these limits go back to obstacles that put in question the effectiveness of the protection of women's rights.
