Willa Sibert Cather (1873-1947) was an American writer famous for her novels related to frontier life on the Great Plains. Other notable works by this author include: "O Pioneers " (1913), "The Song of the Lark" (1915), and "My ntonia" (1918). She won the Pulitzer Prize for her World War I novel "One of Ours" (1922). This classic work is being republished now in a new edition complete with an excerpt from "Willa Cather - Written For The Borzoi, 1920" by H. L. Mencken.
