The thorns within her roses

The thorns within her roses is a collection of poems about my journey to achieving self-love and acceptance while going through growing pains, trauma and the ups and downs of life. I wrote this collection for those who feel like me. Those who have been abused but is scared to speak up. Those who feel like they don't belong no matter how hard they try to fit in. For those who just want to be healed. This is for YOU. With this collection I've prepared myself to have an intimate but public conversation with you all. The thorns within her roses is not written with filter, it's vulnerable, raw and unapologetic, it teaches everyone that despite the messiness of life, you need to learn to love yourself, and that healing is NOT an overnight process, it is an on- going process that takes time and patience but you will HEAL.
