This handbook is a supplementary workbook for J.D. Parks' novel, Tales of a First-Year Teacher. It includes 25 interactive exercises that encourage teachers to self-reflect and thoughtfully-navigate day-to-day school operations by highlighting four categories: teacher bias, addressing student behavior, ethical workplace behavior, and building socially-just learning environments.
