The Tale of the Savannah Coin

Laurel McGraw created this fictitious story of how Robert Louis Stevenson wrote Treasure Island. While he stayed in Savannah, Georgia, Stevenson accidentally came to possess a marked coin from a treasure stolen one hundred years earlier. Pirates, alchemists, the Yamacraw tribe and members of a utopian society all claim their right to this coin. The magic of Savannah and the surrounding area is the fertile ground for this adventure.
