People are accustomed to being afraid and terrified of microbes, and viewing them as all of them being harmful and causing disease, and very few in comparison to the beneficial or harmless ones. Among the microbes are many species that perform in nature the greatest services to humans, animals, and plants. Rather, they are the link between death and life, as they decompose sludge and waste into simple substances. It is easy to absorb, and many living organisms, especially plants, can benefit from it, as they feed on it and form their cells from it, and thus humans and animals benefit from it indirectly.This book discusses some of the microbes that cause disease, and the author has been careful to avoid scientific terms and expressions, which the reader may find some difficulty in following.
