The Spirit In

I've always wanted to become a father. At 38, I did. These poems are a document of the mystic, sleep-deprivation journey that new parents experience. They are also a rumination on wonder, the impossibility of time, and the transcendent nature of love. Focusing outward on a tiny little girl, who makes my heart bigger.
