The Secret of the Saucers
YES, THE BOOK IS FICTION INSPIRED BY REAL EVENTS
Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon (UAP) is the correct name for what have been mostly called UFOs.
The United States Navy and the United States Government agreed to the change in the name as the Navy made it clear to the Government that Navy personnel saw UAPs hovering over the water, in the water, going into the water and coming out of the water, not always 'flying'.
UAPs have been sighted by various cultures for thousands of years and such sightings have been recorded in art forms, sculptures, structures, ground-based designs, edged into stones, and told in stories passed down through centuries of generations.
And keep in mind that these ancient cultures had no idea that someday man would fly so they could only capture stories of the sightings and encounters in words, stories and structures that were relevant to them at the ancient times of those encounters.
"Secrets of Saucers" is primarily focused on UAP sightings in the USA A bibliography at the end will give you sources to which you can go for further information.
All the references to UAPs in this book are real, however the characters are fictitious: Grammy, Myrtle, Stuart, Kate, and Masaneka.
In the final chapter the five characters go to Catalina Island off the coast of California, an island that has experienced many, many UAPs in the air, in the water, going into the water and coming out of the water. The boat tour they take and what the tour guide shared about UAP sightings are real Yes, real
But the very end of the story with Myrtle and Stuart, well, it's totally fictional But, there still might be some truth to what Stuart said
