"... protetto ... arrivata ..." A dying man's whispered plea draws Jane Harrison, an English woman living in contemporary Rome, into an ancient conflict between good and evil. Her quest will involve a not-so-typical British tourist, an idealistic American student and the fascinating but ambiguous Gabriel.
