The Rope Puller

This is a true story, an experience that happened to me in 2002. Cries outside of my bedroom window as I was about to go to sleep for the night. Cries and the asking of help that came from such a mysterious place. It was something I could not ignore. Not ever. And these little books, however many pennies or dollars that are collected from them, will be given to help the people of this place. I promised them this. And this promise I will keep.
