At age thirteen, Lolo Mrs. Juliana Nwakamma began a long journey to understand the fundamentals of life. As she struggled with obstacles surrounding life on the street to poverty, she bravely held onto her belief in God and the strength within her family to survive.

In her second collection of poetry, The Rivers of Poems, Mrs. Nwakamma, a Nigerian American, shares her experience with the passage of time and its effects on culture, love, and loss. Her family and faith shine through in this second book as the leading factor of her everlasting hope of a better tomorrow for all.
