The Ring: The Katie Series

This is a story about choice. Katie knows girls that are 'active' and she also knows some that have 'taken the promise.' And then there are the ones that have not decided what to do. That is where Katie is.

The Ring is about the purity promise, the virginity pledge, the Silver Ring Thing Movement, and religious responsibilities. These things are hard enough for parents to explain, can you imagine how hard they are for a young adult to understand?

But the discussion is necessary and vital for young adults. Their basic decisions are generally motivated by peer pressure; in this book, they are first educated and then left to make their own decision - no pressure.
