Amy knows the supernatural creatures of London by the shape of their auras alone. Gerald knows how to kill them. After their first mission together, Amy and Gerald understand the world hidden below the streets of London better than most. And yet, there is still so much Amy must learn about Downstairs, about otherwordlies, about Gerald. But stranger still are the undead bodies that have started to appear across London. Once lifeless and now marked by a strange magic, both Amy and Gerald soon realise the truth: Someone is raising the dead.
