''The Rest on the Nettle'''' - is a collection of stories by the Russian writer, satirist, «the king of laugh» and theatre critic A. T. Averchenko (1881 - 1925). When Avercheko arrived to Prague for permanent residence, he won popularity at once and wrote many short stories including the collection «the Rest on the Nettle». In this collection we can feel the huge author-emigrant''s longing for the motherland, for the old Russia, which will never be the same.
