The profile of the listener-internet user

This work presents the need to research radio consumption, with the intention of getting to know the profile of the radio listener, and especially the listener-internet user in Alto Araguaia - MT. The study starts from the changes that have occurred since radio was first recorded in history. However, languages, production technologies and program formats have changed significantly. Today, we live with new possibilities for consumption, which is developing a new type of listener, the "internet listener", who is in contact with great diversity in the ways they listen - compared to their parents' and grandparents' generation - because they can now listen to radio content via the internet, smartphones, tablets, etc. Thus, the book takes us through the historical process of overcoming, improving and surviving radio, and introduces us to a listener with an active and participatory profile. This new configuration can be explained by the environment in which the contemporary listener is inserted. In this way, I hope to introduce you to the profile of this listener through a survey on radio consumption. I wish you a great read
