The Powell Tradition

This book is for all who are have interest in the Powell family history and are living that ongoing history. The effort to publish this history is for current and future generations who may never meet one another. The focus is on the direct lineage of NORBORNE BERKELEY POWELL. A tradition transferred to the oldest living male descendant an engraved silver pitcher, given to Norborne Powell 1836 by the citizens of Macon, Georgia, in appreciation for his efforts on behalf of their interests. His story is in this book.
