The Oxford Book of Prayer

The late Bishop George Appleton drew his selection of over 1,100 prayers from many centuries and many traditions. His choice is ecumenical in the widest sense of the word. The book also includes a subject index to guide the user to prayers for particular occasions, as well an index of authors and sources.
