The Origin of Life & Humanity

While most people believe in God (or a higher authority), members of the Scientific community are split roughly 50:50 on this question. So, the debate rages on as to whether creationism (i.e., God) or natural phenomena is responsible for the origin of life and the unique aspects of humanity. This book examines relevant viewpoints from a layman's perspective to help readers decide for themselves which theory has a greater chance of being correct.
Included is a brief look at the history of some of science's pronouncements, as well as quotes from well-known scientists, engineers, philosophers, and theologians. The author also summarizes some of the extraordinary complexity of living cells and higher organisms from chemistry, biology, information, and functional perspectives.
